Arsan's journey sprouted in the fertile lands of Anatolia in the 1950s with cotton trade. Our founder Ömer Faruk Arıkan's strong culture of discipline and entrepreneurial character transformed into a modern industrial vision with the establishment of Arsan Textile in 1984. The seeds sown on that day formed the foundation of our "Capital Discipline" and "Production Culture," which are our holding's greatest strengths today.
From Industrialism to Global Standard Investment
Becoming one of Europe's largest capacity facilities in the 90s and ranking high on ISO 500 lists, Arsan crowned this success in production with a corporate transformation.
Our initial public offering in 1998 became the most concrete registration of our commitment to transparency and corporate governance principles. This date marks the milestone of our transition from an industrial company to a "Corporate Structure" responsible to thousands of partners.
With the 2000s, we decided to diversify the capital power we gained from textiles in line with our country's strategic needs. Our infrastructure power, reaching over 1 million subscribers with Akedaş and Armadaş investments in energy distribution, has become the backbone of the holding's financial sustainability and social responsibility.
